Pablo Sandoval made a throwing error in the eighth, forced by Tony Campana’s speed, that allowed Gerardo Parra to tie the game. And then in the bottom half of the eighth Sandoval came to the plate with the bases loaded but flied out to Parra, running toward the right field wall. In the tenth, Tony Campana’s two-out, two-strike single off Yusmeiro Petit gave the Snakes the victory.

Hudson, #3, won the first game of the series as Lincecum, #4, and Vogelsong, #5, started games that became losses as the evening wore on and the fog rolled in.
It was Farewell to Candlestick Night at AT&T Park, and we hope that such losses go with the old, windy place.
